Santa tracker: Mr. Claus is where? Watch his journey live on NORAD and Google on Christmas Eve.

Santa is aware of mischievous behavior. He is aware of your kindness. Additionally, he may come and leave your gifts because he knows when you're sleeping.

However, we can now pinpoint Santa Claus's whereabouts as he makes his way across the globe bringing gifts to kids on Christmas Eve because of Santa trackers.

Google and the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) both have real-time capabilities to track Santa and determine his exact arrival time in the United States after Saint Nick's annual trip from the North Pole.

Fortunately, Santa will have no trouble entering the U.S. this year, thanks to a transit permit issued by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

How to use NORAD's 2024 Santa Tracker

NORAD, a joint U.S.-Canada command in charge of safeguarding the skies over both countries, will launch the map that will follow Santa's journey around the globe on December 24, Christmas Eve. Visitors may track Santa's flight from 4 a.m. to midnight MST / 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. EST.

On December 24, from 6 a.m. to midnight MST, trackers worldwide can also phone 1-877-HI-NORAD (1-877-446-6723) to speak with live operators regarding Santa's whereabouts.

NORAD is not the only organization or company following Santa's voyage around the world delivering gifts. In addition, Google has its own Santa tracker available on its website and in the Santa Tracker 2024 app, which will launch on December 24.

Google's Santa tracker website is operational and features a family guide, activities with a Christmas theme, and quizzes.

On December 1, 2024, the NORAD Tracks Santa website launched. A holiday countdown, games, a movie theater, holiday music, a web store, and more are all part of Santa's North Pole Village. English, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish are among the languages in which it is available.

Why is Santa monitored by NORAD?

It was an error in 1955 that led to NORAD's lengthy Santa monitoring history. Legend has it that a newspaper ad in Colorado Springs, Colorado Springs, asked kids to call Santa, but unintentionally included the number for the Continental Air Defense Command, the forerunner to NORAD, which is also located in Colorado Springs.

The officers cooperated. Since then, NORAD Tracks Santa has expanded internationally, taking calls from all around the world, updating its website for millions of admirers on social media, and tracking Santa's progress on Christmas Eve.

Santa is accompanied by hundreds of volunteers from the US and Canadian military. You can call a volunteer at Colorado's Peterson Space Force Base or check their website to stay in touch with Santa.
